Commercial event bar case study
Amazon Manchester team event bar.
Cocktailhire supplied a three-metre wooden mobile bar and bartender service for an after-work Amazon Manchester team event. Amazon arranged the ingredients and ice through its internal ordering system; our team prepared the working bar and served Mojitos, Sex on the Beach and Pina Coladas selected from the existing Cocktailhire menu.

What was supplied
Event typeAmazon Manchester team event inside the office after the working day.
Bar setupThree metres of wooden bar cladding on top of the steel mobile bar frame.
Selected drinksMojitos, Sex on the Beach and Pina Coladas from the existing Cocktailhire menu.
The photographed setup shows the wooden frontage over the mobile bar's steel frame inside the office. The three-metre bar provided a defined place for drinks preparation and guest service.
This was a staffed mobile-bar booking with client-arranged ingredients and ice. It illustrates one way to divide responsibilities when an office has its own procurement and delivery process.
How the event worked
Amazon handled the ingredients internally. We handled the bar.
Amazon used its internal ordering system to arrange ingredients and ice. For a similar event, confirm quantities, delivery, storage and the person receiving supplies before the service day.
Client-supplied stock still needs a preparation plan. Agree where bottles, ingredients, ice and glasses will be ready, who can replenish them and when the bartender can access the working area.
The three drinks served at this event were Mojitos, Sex on the Beach and Pina Coladas. For a new booking, choose from the current Cocktailhire menu and confirm the ingredients, glasses and supplies for that selection.
The written quote should identify both the work supplied by Cocktailhire and the items arranged by your company.
Choosing the service
Plan the bar, staff and supplies for your office.
Start by deciding what your office already provides. A suitable existing counter can support staff-only cocktail service. Where a separate structure is needed, a Cocktailhire mobile bar can be added with our staff.
Confirm the available floor space, building access, lifts, loading arrangements and preparation time. Keep the working side of the bar separate from guest circulation and office equipment.
The documented Amazon event combines a supplied mobile bar and bartender service with the client's own ingredient and ice ordering. It does not establish the scope, price or staffing required for every office event.
Discuss the guest count, chosen drinks, arrival pattern and service hours when requesting a quote. These facts determine the proposed service; the company name or venue photograph does not replace an event brief.
Planning notes for similar events
Request a quote for a similar office event.
Send the date, full venue postcode, guest count and service hours. State whether you need staff only at an existing counter, a staffed mobile bar, or a package with agreed drinks supplies.
For a straight three-metre bar, allow three metres of width by 1.5m floor depth for the bar and bartender working area, with guest circulation additional. Confirm the actual measured position and access before selecting the setup.
Allocate ingredients, ice, glasses, storage and clearing responsibilities in the quote. Cocktailhire glassware can only be added alongside a staffed mobile bar. Current service pages provide the available options and price basis for a new booking.
Clients choose drinks from the existing Cocktailhire menu. The event menu is then built from the selected drinks.
