A mobile bar can provide a separate service point inside a hotel, but the room, delivery route and arrangements in the event booking need checking first. A bar that fits on the floor plan still has to reach that floor.
Check the whole journey into the room
Send the bar team the loading entrance, narrowest doors, lift dimensions and any stairs between the vehicle and the room. Include the time available for unloading and whether other suppliers will be using the same route.
Then settle the working position: frontage, space behind the bar, clean glass storage and the replenishment route. Keep guests' entrances and emergency routes clear. The hotel and organiser should agree any floor protection or supplier requirements before the equipment is booked.
- Confirm what the hotel is supplying rather than assuming an empty room includes a usable bar.
- List any separate bar hire, staffing and drinks requirements on the written quote.
