Only when separate positions solve a genuine distance, timing or demand problem. One well-placed bar may be enough; multiple bars add staffing, supplies and replenishment requirements as well as guest convenience.
Map where guests will be at each service period
Compare the reception, exhibition area, speaker lounge and evening room. If these operate at different times, one position may serve more than one purpose. If they operate together on different floors, a shared bar may leave guests with a long trip or create a concentrated queue.
Assign guest numbers and service hours to each position while keeping the overall event count accurate. Each bar needs clean glasses, ingredients, ice, working space and a return route. Moving equipment between sessions also needs time and access; it is not an automatic alternative to a second setup.
- Mark simultaneous service periods and guest movements.
- Confirm staffing and supplies for every operating position.
