How Do You Separate Vip Talent and Guest Drinks Areas at a Premiere

Separate them only where the event's access rules and service needs justify it. Define which team serves each area, who can enter and how stock and glasses move between them; a rope or room label alone does not create a working service plan.

Keep restricted access clear without neglecting the reception

Provide the guest counts, timings and selected drinks for each area. Confirm whether talent requirements involve a separate service point or simply a named handover to the event team.

Do not expect one bartender to leave a busy public counter whenever a restricted room needs attention. Plan staff coverage and replenishment for both. Keep camera routes, talent movements and guest ordering distinct, with one contact authorised to change the arrangement. Specific hospitality duties belong in the booking rather than being inferred from VIP wording.

  • Record access, service duties and guest numbers for each area.
  • Keep restricted-room requests from interrupting the main bar without cover.
