Plan drinks around the launch schedule rather than allowing the bar to compete with it. A clear menu, a suitable position and staffing for the opening guest wave help people get a drink without missing the presentation.
Protect the reveal, then prepare for the next wave
Share guest check-in, presentation and press timings with the bar lead. Select drinks from the existing Cocktailhire menu and agree when service pauses or changes pace. Avoid positioning the queue across product displays or the entrance to a presentation room.
Confirm clean-glass stock, ice, ingredient replenishment and clearing before the first guest arrives. If people will return to the bar together after the reveal, include that demand in the staffing plan. Tray delivery can be considered, but it requires an agreed format and carrying staff rather than being assumed within bartender hire.
- Mark the busiest arrival periods and presentation pauses.
- Assign stock replenishment and used-glass collection explicitly.
