Use one bartender per 50 guests as Cocktailhire's usual starting point, then check the launch timetable and service layout. A guest list of 100 suggests two bartenders initially, but simultaneous arrivals, separate areas or additional duties can require more support.
Plan for the launch moment, not just the total
Tell us when guests arrive, whether there is a press call or reveal, and when drinks service can resume afterwards. A short, concentrated reception can put more pressure on a bar than the same attendance spread over an evening.
If talent hospitality or a separate sponsor room needs dedicated service, do not count the same bartender in both places. Replenishment, glass collection and table delivery also need an agreed allocation.
