Allow for the bar frontage, the people working behind it, stock and glass storage, and guests waiting in front. The frontage measurement alone is not the footprint of a functioning hotel-event bar.
Mark the working area on the room plan
Cocktailhire's standard mobile bar planning uses 1.5-metre units. The number of units is only the starting point: the final layout also depends on guest numbers, the drinks service and the room's access.
Show the proposed bar position with doors, tables, pillars and main walking routes. Include a route for replenishing ice and clean glasses without crossing the guest queue. A bar against a wall may use the room differently from an island with service on more than one side.
- Ask for the complete footprint of the chosen configuration before finalising nearby furniture.
