Should the Cocktail Menu Stay the Same All Evening

Keeping one agreed menu throughout is usually the simplest option for guests, stock planning and service. If you want different drinks at arrivals and later, arrange that before the event rather than changing the list while the bar is running.

Avoid making the second half of the evening a surprise

A consistent selection lets the team organise the ingredients and glasses around known choices. Guests can return for a drink they enjoyed without finding that an unannounced menu change has removed it.

A planned change can still have a purpose, but it needs the correct supplies, a clear handover time and confirmation within the booking. All selections remain from the existing Cocktailhire menu. For staff-only hire, do not make changes after shopping without checking the quantities and ingredients; for a package, confirm the final supplied selection rather than assuming extra drinks are included.

  • Use one agreed menu unless a planned change has a clear purpose.
  • Confirm any change before supplies and event paperwork are finalised.
