Choose a bar that fits the working area and can reach it without unsuitable handling or building alterations. A marquee and a listed property present different access and surface questions, so the practical route matters as much as the finish.
Match the setup to the site, not just the photographs
For a marquee, check the surface, weather protection, delivery route and available working supplies. For a historic building, share doorway and corridor measurements and any site-specific restrictions supplied by the venue.
Standard Cocktailhire bar units are 1.5 metres wide, but the total position must also allow for staff movement, preparation, storage and guest approach. Do not assume a bar can be fixed to a wall or moved across a delicate floor without an agreed method. Confirm the selected setup and its delivery plan before finalising the room layout.
