A nearby sink is not the only possible arrangement, but its absence must be discussed before the event. Every setup still needs an agreed plan for handwashing, equipment cleaning, water and wastewater; do not assume the bar arrives with a replacement for all of those.
Explain the distance and the facilities available
Show where the usable water and cleaning facilities are in relation to the proposed bar. Include stairs, locked areas or routes through guests that could make an apparently short distance impractical during service.
The workable arrangement depends on the equipment and drinks being supplied. Confirm whether any additional facilities or a different bar position are needed before booking the final setup. Agree where used glasses and waste go as well, so there is a complete hygiene and clearance plan rather than an improvised bucket behind the counter.
