What Should a Launch Bar Leave Behind After the Event

It should leave the agreed working area cleared and any commissioned records or media delivered in a usable form. Plan those outputs as part of the launch brief; ordinary bar hire does not automatically produce a campaign film or detailed analysis.

Decide what the next person needs to receive

Agree collection and remaining-stock responsibilities before service. If the launch needs anonymous serve records, practical stock notes or edited footage, confirm the required capture and the delivery arrangements in advance.

Give the report or media an actual purpose: preparing the next event, showing the product clearly or documenting agreed delivery. Keep observed results separate from interpretation, and avoid presenting serving totals as sales or footage as proof of commercial impact. Permissions and brand review also need to be settled before material is used.

  • Include post-event work in the quotation and brief.
  • Specify the recipient, use and delivery timing for each output.
