It may be sufficient when the existing bar, team and arrangements can deliver the agreed product service in the right place and at the required times. Check those capabilities directly rather than assuming either the venue or an outside supplier is automatically the better option.
Compare the actual work against the brief
Confirm stock responsibility, approved preparation, glassware, equipment and the ability to handle the event's busiest period. Establish whether the bar is serving other guests at the same time.
If the event also needs particular branding, anonymous reporting or media, check who will provide it and what is included. An existing bar can remain the sensible choice where it meets the full requirement. Additional hire should close a real gap, with responsibilities and any shared use clearly agreed.
