They often combine concentrated arrivals, a fixed programme and a bar that is visible on camera. Missing supplies or unclear duties can therefore interrupt several parts of the event at once, rather than remaining a small problem behind the counter.
Remove the predictable points of friction
Agree the drinks, guest count, arrival wave and any timed serving moment. Prepare stock, glassware and equipment before guests enter, and assign replenishment and used-glass collection.
Keep the bar clear of press routes and give service changes one event-day contact. Brief additional campaign or filming duties explicitly rather than expecting them to happen alongside an already busy counter. The prevention is practical preparation, not a promise that a supplier can improvise every missing part on the night.
