Plan for the second arrival rush
Tell us how many people will be there when evening guests arrive, not just how many are joining later. The usual starting guide is one bartender per 50 guests; the arrival pattern and drinks being served affect the final team.

Settle the venue and supply split
Check that the venue allows an outside bartender to work at the agreed service point. Confirm who supplies the drinks and ingredients, ice, glassware and any bar equipment. A staff-only booking does not automatically include those items or a physical mobile bar.
Give the service a clear finish
Agree the start and end of the booked service, especially if guests are moving between rooms or the reception has a late finish. The published labour starting price is £270 per bartender for three hours, then £67.50 per additional hour, plus travel where applicable.
