You may already have the wine, beer, spirits or soft drinks sorted. What you do not want is to spend the party opening bottles, finding ice and pouring every round yourself.
Bartender hire gives that service point a clear owner. Your guests know where to order and you stay with the people you invited.
Yes. You can supply the drinks and hire the bartender.
Cocktailhire can run drinks service from a suitable bar, counter or other prepared service point while you supply the drinks and ingredients. Glassware and wider bar equipment are separate unless they are included in your written quote.
Have the drinks ready for service
Keep the working stock, mixers and ice close to the service point, with back-up supplies easy to reach. Decide how drinks will stay cold and where empty bottles and used glasses will go.
A stocked house is not necessarily a ready bar. These small arrangements let the bartender keep serving instead of asking you to solve gaps during the party.
Know what the labour price covers
The published starting price is £270 per bartender for the first three service hours, then £67.50 for each additional hour, plus travel where applicable. This is a labour starting point, not a price for alcohol, glassware or a mobile bar.
The bartender brings the working tools needed for live service. Any additional equipment or supply needs to be identified in the written quote.

Then settle exactly what you will supply and what, if anything, the booking adds. If the event is at a venue, check that it permits your own drinks and an outside bartender before booking.
