5 hours is a fixed term & before you enquire, NO, we will not do shorter times than this. Let us explain why: 

We have already mentioned that this is the busiest night of the year for us. Our bartenders know this, they also know that all the other companies doing this, will overpay to get their services for this one night. Meaning in order to gain our own staff loyalty on this all important night, we will guarantee them, 5 hours of paid work. Not 2 or 3, not a cocktail hour. 5 hours. Not one bartender is going to give up their New Years Eve potential earnings, especially when they’re about to enter a work drought now, to go do 2 hours anywhere. We would never, ever be able to staff it, so we remove it as an option, because we simply can’t get a member of staff to agree to it. 

So 5 hours of Cocktail Making, no less. 

WE DO NOT PROVIDE FLAIR BARTENDERS ON NEW YEARS EVE: 

This is a much rarer skill, therefore a much higher price tag. But for us & me, writing this speaking as a flair bartender myself, I'm writing this from my own experience. Booking a Flair Bartender on the busiest night of the year, is like trying to get Elton John or Beyonce over. Honestly, they suddenly realise they’re worth their weight in gold just for this one night of the whole year & don’t they make sure everyone knows it. 

From sky high pricing, to letting all companies going on a bidding war for their services, to not committing to events until the 30th December, just so they made sure they got the highest bid. To diva demands you couldn’t believe of hotels etc. We just refuse to deal with this level of stress & diva attitude from the Flair Bartenders, so we just don’t offer this service anymore on New Years Eve. Its still available 363 days of the rest of the year, but Christmas Day & New Years Eve, we just discard this from out service menu. 

New Years Eve Cocktail Maker Hire Pricing / Cost: 

Hiring a Cocktail Maker on New Years Eve is £500, not going to be the cheapest service you’ve ever booked. But you’re also asking for the most sought after service out there, on this given night. Honesty moment, our margins as an agency is the same. Just another Saturday for us. So its not racing up the price, just to seize an opportunity to do so, we’re not UBER.

But we have to pay the bartenders DOUBLE TIME & guarantee them more hours of work. Or they find the work paying the most elsewhere, Its that simple. 

So Cocktail Maker Hire, Mixologist Hire & Bartender Hire for New Years Eve is a fixed rate of £500 (plus travel) for a 5 hour period. Please don’t enquire for less, because we cannot do it & won’t be able to respond to such an enquiry.

You can hire a cocktail maker for New Years Eve for all kinds of parties, from the small home, barely 20 people over for drinks, right through to Large scale halls hired where multiple Cocktail Makers, Bartenders or Mixologists are hired. 

But our rules remain the same for this night, regardless of the scale. You will ONLY be able to book a 5 hour period, for £500.

No, We have mentioned above, this service is our business night of the year & our bartenders will not go out to an event unless we can guarantee an income for them on this night, or they’ll just call in sick & take higher paying job. To prevent this from happening, we make sure we pay our bartenders the best rates & keep their loyalty.

Do your cocktail makers travel to Parties on New Years Eve?: 

Yes, We drive to all parties on New Years Eve & still only charge normal travel rates outside of London as fuel is still the same price. 

In London however, travel will be charged at premium taxi rates, as our bartenders have that cost to get home after your party & have no choice but to pay these taxi premiums. So we must pass that cost onto you. 

Do your bartenders get drunk on our parties? We’ve had this problem before?: 

NO, our bartenders are industry professionals, seasoned professionals & we hire / recruit on a “Been there, done that” mentality. We ONLY hire Bartenders that have spent years in the industry that drinking on the job is no longer an interest to them. Plus they drive home & have families, we don’t hire “The kids” still in bars & enjoying that lifestyle we all once did.
