Why the busiest moment matters
At a drinks reception, most guests may approach the bar within a short period. At a longer party, orders can be more spread out. The total is the same, but the opening preparation, menu visibility and collection space need to reflect that difference.

- The full expected guest count, including later arrivals.
- Service start and finish, and any planned pause.
- Whether drinks are selected cocktails or a different agreed service.
- The existing bar facilities and who supplies ingredients, ice and glassware.
Do not reduce the guest number to fit a smaller quote. The team and supplies depend on the real attendance. If more people are coming, raise the number so the booking can be planned properly.
