Low and No Alcohol Cocktail Menu Guide for Events

Give guests who are not drinking alcohol a considered choice.

Guests who are not drinking alcohol should not have to begin their order by asking what is left for them. Include suitable choices when selecting the event menu, and make them clear enough to find before someone reaches the bar.

Use the choices actually available

Choose from the existing Cocktailhire menu and check the drinks specifically marked as available without alcohol. Removing the main spirit does not automatically turn every cocktail into an equivalent drink. The Negroni is not offered as a non-alcoholic choice on the menu.

Confirm what each guest needs

Someone asking for a lighter drink and someone avoiding alcohol entirely are not asking for the same thing. Do not describe a drink as alcohol-free simply because it contains less spirit. Product ingredients and labelling matter, so make any strict requirement clear before the event rather than relying on a drink name.

  • State how many guests are likely to want the available alcohol-free choices.
  • Check the ingredients for the chosen recipes and communicate dietary or allergy requirements.
  • Keep the descriptions distinct from alcoholic versions where both are served.
  • Plan enough ice, glasses and ingredients for these orders too.

For example, at a party with several drivers, include the alcohol-free selection in the main ordering information rather than offering it only after they ask. Nobody needs to explain their reason for choosing it.

See cocktail maker hire and tell us about the event and drinks requirements. Confirm suitability for individual needs; do not infer it from a general menu label.
