Do you need people at a bar, or a bar for them to work from?
If your room already has a suitable working bar, bartender hire may be the missing part. If it has nowhere properly equipped for drinks service, mobile bar hire addresses the physical setup. Do not compare the two as though the only difference is the price.
Bartender hire: the team
The staff-only route provides the people for the agreed service. The client buys ingredients using the booking shopping list, and suitable facilities, ice and glassware still need clear arrangements. A table with bottles on it is not automatically equivalent to a working bar.
Mobile bar hire: the service point
A mobile bar brings a physical counter and working setup to the event. The quote should state the number of units, selected finish, staffing and any additions. Do not assume that mentioning a bar means all cocktail ingredients are included.
A package: the included supplies too
Wedding and all-in-one cocktail packages bring the bar, team, selected cocktail ingredients, ice and glassware together. Their ingredient itinerary describes what Cocktailhire supplies; it is not a request for the client to do the shopping.
For an 80-person party, keep the same real guest count and service hours across each quote. A cheaper-looking staff-only option can still leave the host arranging the bar and supplies. Equally, a complete booking is unnecessary if those parts are genuinely already provided.
