Hire our Mobile Bar - The White Chesterfield:
Our Chesterfield Mobile bar is absolutely beautiful & despite it being fabricated & constructed for a planned - one off event, for a white party in London's Hampstead borough. We ended up over-ordering on the white faux leather based material in which we used to create this bar. So after the event, we decided to lean in further & just make it one of the bar fronts available from us.
Our Mobile Bar covered in the white Chesterfield is created with elegance & a statement in mind. Whilst the planned purpose for the hire, was in fact, for a white party, an 18th to be precise. We have found its most popular use, is actually in fact, around the stores of London. The designer stores, offering unique jewellery for example, or clothing brand launches. It sits in a store & looks like it belongs. Like it was indeed a part of the intended installation when the brands fitted out the shop.
Crafted completely by our own in-house hands, it is made from faux white leather, a process of drilling holes into a backboard, strategically placed. Then 2 layers of membrane are added, which adds the thickness to these chesterfields. the more we use, the more plush the bar looks. However, in the deep interests of restraint. As much as we wanted a plus, luxurious puffy Chesterfield, we discovered, if we went overboard. That it would push out farther than the barters, so in the interest of overall aesthetic to our bars. Only 2 layers of membrane were used.
It is then wrapped with the faux leather, over 45 purpose created white buttons are then used, to pin all the strategic & earlier drilled out holes. to the back board, thus creating the Chesterfield pinned points its so famous for.
Mobile Bar Construction:
Behind the Chesterfield vale. Our Mobile bar is unbeatable in its perfect balance between portability & robustness, along with its design by bartenders - for bartenders approach to the entire mobile bar.
This mobile bar was designed completely by us, loosely based on the, at the time market leading cantilever bar. We wanted its commercially viable look, a mobile bar, that doesn't look like a mobile bar. However, we didn't want to purchase the said cantilever because it had design flaws, ones we sought to correct.
Firstly, its ease to build. I have never met a single mobile bar building person, that doesn't have to stop & figure out how it goes together, or have to take parts of it back down again, because of a mistake. The de-rigging of the mobile bar at the end of the event, takes so long, because staff cant understand its mechanics. I didnt want that for myself, or my team. So we created a mobile bar, which has that permanent structure stability & look, however, revolutionises the portability by being not only super easy to build, by any of my team. But also, super fast to build too. De-rigging is even easier.
It's made from a solid steel frame, then aluminium paneling, this gave us the strength of steel, but the form factor & weight of something far lighter for better portability. We also were extremely passionate about the sink system. a "bucket" just installed into the bar, was not cutting it for us.
Speed rails were also a vital item, this means nothing to the end client. However, its benefit whether you as the client realise it or not. Gets bottles off the work surface, into a handier spot for bartenders to grab. Increasing not only workspace & the bars glassware stock holding capacity, but also the bartenders serving speed too.
White Bar Tops
Another reason why we avoided the cantilever & opted for our own fabrication. Was that the Cantilever design had another flaw, one that haunts me for every event I attend where a cantilever has been hired in by the venue, caterers, or even as an additional hire from the client that hires us for bartending, not mobile bars.
The Cantilever, as great as the bar top is, as nice as the design on how it slots onto the bar is thought out. It's NOT interchangeable. Every single company hiring out mobile bars in this country, is locked into the bar top, ONLY being that of a stainless steel bar top. We did not want to be stuck in this eco system. We wanted to offer our clients choice, options. To pick their bar tops & their bar fronts independently. So using a material called DiBond, we can create a durable, clean bar top, in matching colours to our fronts. That fit on to our bars perfectly. They should, they're designed for them. Offering our clients far more choice than any other bar company out there.
