Wedding Cocktail Bar Hire Planning Guide

Plan the wedding bar around the moments you want to enjoy.

You should not be checking ice stocks between the ceremony and dinner. Start your wedding bar plan with the times you want cocktails served and the number of guests present at each stage. Then decide whether you want Cocktailhire to bring the complete cocktail setup or provide people at an already equipped bar.

Choose the right responsibility

Wedding cocktail packages include the bar, team, selected cocktail ingredients, ice and glassware. Their optional ingredients itinerary tells you what Cocktailhire brings; you are not being asked to shop for those items. Staff-only hire works differently: the client buys ingredients from the booking shopping list and arranges the other agreed supplies.

Put service on the wedding timeline

Record the drinks reception, wedding breakfast, speeches and evening arrivals. Cocktailhire wedding packages have a minimum of 50 guests and four service hours. A planned dinner or speech break can pause service for up to two hours where agreed. Do not assume an unplanned delay changes the booked hours automatically.

  • Use the real guest count, including evening additions.
  • Choose five drinks from the existing menu within your package tier.
  • Agree bar position, supplier access and any room transition.
  • Keep one schedule with the planner, host and bar team.

Our staffing baseline is one bartender per 50 guests. The bar baseline is one 1.5-metre unit per 100 guests, with working space still needed behind it. Those are practical planning figures, not reasons to squeeze the setup into a leftover corner.
