Use a second bar only when it solves a real problem.
You do not automatically need a separate reception bar. It becomes useful when the reception is in another space, the existing bar is unavailable, or one service point would make guests cross the room or join the wrong queue.
Look at where guests will be immediately after the ceremony and where they move next. A bar that works perfectly for the evening can be badly placed for an outdoor reception. Equally, adding another bar means another working area, stock position and staffing decision; an extra frontage alone does not create extra service capacity.
A practical example
If drinks are on the terrace before dinner inside, compare a staffed terrace position with using the indoor bar throughout. Confirm whether equipment needs to move, when that move can happen and who serves guests during the changeover.
