Start with the guest route from ceremony to reception, dinner and dancing. Check whether the original bar remains accessible during room dressing or dinner. If equipment must move, allow access and preparation time, with a clear decision about which drinks remain available during that interval.

A bar in a connecting room may serve both the reception and the evening comfortably. A bar outside a locked dining room will not be useful while guests are elsewhere, even if it looked central on the floor plan.
