Marquee Wedding Island Bar: A Production Layout Example

A full island bar needs 5.5m by 3.5m of clear working floor space before guest circulation is added. This production example shows how to plan a Cocktailhire island bar inside a wedding marquee. The product visual illustrates the layout; it is not a photograph of a named wedding.

Reserve the footprint before furniture is placed

Mark out a 5.5m by 3.5m rectangle on the marquee plan. Keep it clear for the bar and working area. Dining tables, guest approaches, exits and other suppliers need separate space around that rectangle.

Choose an island or a horseshoe

An island creates a wraparound service position. A horseshoe has an open working side and requires 2.5m depth at the ordered width. The choice depends on the available space, guest routes and access for replenishment, not just the guest count.

Match appearance to the room

Compare White Chesterfield, Black Chesterfield, wood, foliage, Mirror Brick and illuminated designs. LED Gatsby bookings require at least two bar units. The layout configurator shows the product view alongside the floor plan.

Plan the service as well as the structure

Give the team the wedding timetable, guest arrival periods and selected menu. Agree ingredients, ice, glasses, storage and collection duties. A larger structure does not by itself determine staffing or guarantee queue times.

Share production information

Print or save the layout as a PDF for the marquee company, venue and production contact. Confirm the actual ordered configuration, access and working space before finalising the site plan.
