Represent Manchester: A Two-Floor Retail Event Bar

For Represent’s Manchester store launch, Cocktailhire supplied a 1.5m bar on the ground floor and a 3m bar on the first floor, with bar staff and glassware support. Separate service points allowed the drinks operation to follow the two-floor store layout.

Two floors, two service points

The ground floor had a 1.5m bar while the first floor had twice that frontage. Staff, ingredients and glasses could be allocated to each floor instead of making every guest use the same bar.

Drinks and glass collection

The bars could concentrate on different drinks according to the activity on each floor. Because bars and glassware were booked together, glass collection formed part of the staffing plan. The brief included both drinks leaving the bar and empty glasses returning.

The space around the bar

A straight 1.5m bar requires 1.5m by 1.5m working floor space; the three-metre bar requires 3m by 1.5m. Product displays, guest movement and collection routes need additional space. For an upper-floor setup, check how the equipment and supplies reach that floor.

More retail work

The existing event record also documents Represent retail pop-ups and product-launch work. Each photographed setup belongs to its own event; the Manchester store dimensions describe the two-floor launch specifically.
