Check the route into the room before choosing the position
Measure the narrowest doorway, any turn in the hallway and the intended serving area. Mention stairs, steps, parking and anything that limits unloading. A photograph of the space is more useful than describing the room as large.
Keep the bar away from the only route between the kitchen, dining area and garden. Agree where ingredients, ice and used glasses will go, plus the cleaning and utility arrangements. If a mobile bar would crowd the room, a suitable existing counter with a staff-only cocktail service may be the more comfortable choice.
