A standard Cocktailhire bar unit is 1.5 metres long, with a published planning allowance of one unit per 100 guests. You also need the agreed working depth, room for supplies and a clear approach for guests; frontage alone is not the full footprint.
Measure the working area and the way into it
Send the room dimensions or a simple plan, along with photographs of the intended position. Mark doors, furniture and the routes guests and other suppliers will use. Check narrow access points, stairs and turns before assuming the bar can reach that space.
Ask for the dimensions of the actual setup being quoted, including any back-bar or storage arrangement. Leave the bar team room to work without using a doorway as stock storage. If the available space is tight, discuss the existing counter or a different position before confirming the booking.
