Book bartenders only when the hotel already provides a workable bar in the right room. Add a mobile bar when a separate frontage and service position are needed. Neither choice automatically includes every drink or piece of glassware.
Separate the people from the equipment
A hotel counter may look suitable from the guest side but still lack the preparation space, ice storage or glass supply your drinks require. Check the working side before choosing staff alone.
If you need the bar, team, selected cocktails, ingredients, ice and glassware handled together, compare an all-in-one package instead. That is a different scope from hiring bartenders to use ingredients supplied by the organiser.
- Ask what is already included in the room booking.
- Use the real guest count and service hours for the quote, then agree every extra in writing.
