A production-friendly bar has a known footprint, a practical delivery route and a setup sequence that fits the wider build. It should not arrive as an attractive frontage with unanswered questions about working space, stock or access.
Give production the information needed to place it
Confirm the selected units and their dimensions, the space needed behind the bar and the routes for supplies and glass returns. Share any power, water or equipment requirements that apply to the actual setup rather than assuming every bar is identical.
Agree loading, build and collection windows with the producer. A room shared with staging, lighting and catering needs a sequence that keeps trades from obstructing each other. Name the bar contact and identify who can approve a position change if the final layout differs from the drawing.
- Put frontage and working space on the same floor plan.
- Confirm access and the ready-for-service deadline before the build day.
