A package is better value only if you need what it includes.
A wedding package can be the better fit when you need the bar, staff, cocktail ingredients, ice and glassware supplied. If those practical items are already arranged, hiring the appropriate staff separately may avoid paying for work twice.
Compare the same guests, hours and drinks scope. A labour price can look lower because the client still supplies ingredients and other agreed items. Equally, a package is not automatically the right choice simply because it combines more services. The decision should follow what is missing from your actual wedding plan.
A practical example
A dry-hire room with no bar stock or glasses is a different starting point from a room with a suitable working bar and all supplies organised. Put each remaining responsibility beside the price before choosing.
