Current service costs
Cocktail bartender hire
From £270 per cocktail bartender for three hours, then £67.50 per additional hour per person, plus quoted travel. Working tools are included.
Mobile bar addition
Add a 1.5m mobile bar unit for £325 to our staff booking. Travel and agreed extras are separate. Glassware hire is available with the staffed bar.
Supplied package rates
Packages cost £7.25, £8.50 or £9.75 per person per hour, minimum 50 guests and four hours. Travel and agreed extras are separate.
For example, the minimum Tier 1 supplied package is £1,450 for 50 guests over four hours before travel and agreed extras. Staff-only hire may suit a smaller event where the hotel or organiser already provides the bar and supplies.
You can request the initial quote before choosing cocktails. Once the service is agreed, select drinks from the existing Cocktailhire menu. Staff-only clients receive a shopping list; the supplied package includes the agreed drinks supplies.
Choose what we supply
Staff only, a staffed bar or a supplied package
If the hotel permits you to use an equipped counter, book bartenders for that position. If a separate structure is needed, choose a staffed mobile bar from our existing range. The supplied package is the option when you also want us to bring the drinks ingredients, ice and glasses.
Confirm what the hotel already supplies before adding equipment. A hotel room booking does not by itself confirm permission for outside bar staff, use of its bar or access to its glassware and stock.
Our mobile bars are operated by Cocktailhire staff. They are not available for third-party staff to hire and run alone.

Plan the room and service
Staffing, working space and venue access
Share the full guest count, selected drinks and arrival pattern. Our starting guide is one bartender per 50 guests; the menu, service window and additional duties can affect the final team. Tell us when speeches or dinner interrupt service.
For a mobile bar, use the ordered production floor plan. Straight bars need 1.5m working depth at their ordered length; horseshoe layouts need 2.5m depth. The island needs 3.5m by 5.5m. Confirm delivery access separately from the finished footprint.
Agree loading, setup and equipment collection with the venue contact. Include usable doorway and lift dimensions, stairs and tight turns. Check any floor-protection requirements and keep the proposed guest approach clear.
Before you book
What to include in your hotel event brief
Identify who supplies drinks, ingredients, ice and glasses, who handles glass collection and waste, and who controls the event running order. Bar service does not automatically include waiting duties or drinks handled elsewhere by the hotel or caterer.
Your written quote should identify the staff, service hours, bar equipment, supplies, travel and agreed extras. If service pauses for dinner or moves to another room, include that plan before booking; a pause does not automatically reduce the booked hours.
Send what is already decided and identify anything still being arranged. We can work from an initial brief, then confirm the practical requirements with your appointed event contact before the booking is finalised.
