Cocktail bar hire across the UK

Cocktail bar hire that starts with what the room actually needs.

Check date and get quote

You know guests need serving. What is less obvious is whether the room needs bartenders, a physical bar, or the whole drinks side supplied together. This page makes that decision clear.

The short answer

If the room already has a useful service point, hire the people. If it has nowhere suitable to serve from, hire the bar as well. If you want the bar, staff, selected drinks, ice and glassware handled in one booking, choose the full package.

Three versions of the job

Start with what the room is missing.

Most wrong quotes begin by choosing a package name. The cleaner decision is to look at the room first. That tells you whether the useful spend is on people, bar structure or a fully supplied drinks service.

1

The room already has a bar

Book experienced cocktail bartenders to run the service point, keep drinks moving and stop the host becoming the bar team.

Starting labour figure: £270 per bartender for three hours, plus travel.

2

The room needs a physical bar

Book a staffed mobile cocktail bar when bottles on a table or service from the kitchen would make the room look unfinished.

Bar structure: from £325 for the first 1.5 metre unit, with staffing booked alongside it.

3

You want the whole drinks side handled

Put the staff, working bar, selected drinks, ice and glassware into one host-paid booking instead of managing five suppliers.

Package rule: priced by guest numbers, service hours and the menu tier of the selected drinks.

What guests notice

The bar becomes part of the room before anyone orders.

Guests judge the bar service quickly. They notice whether there is one obvious place to order, whether the bar looks ready, and whether the team appears to know the room before the queue starts.

That does not mean every event needs a large build. A house party may need one capable cocktail maker working from a kitchen island. A marquee may need a proper mobile bar. A company party may need two service points and a larger team. The right answer is the one that removes the weak point without selling you more than the event requires.

Who this is for

Private parties, weddings and company events.

Cocktail bar hire means different things in different rooms. The service changes; the standard does not.

Parties at home

A clear service point, a realistic menu and somebody other than the host taking responsibility for the drinks.

Company and office events

A bar that looks settled in the room, keeps service composed and leaves the organiser free to run the event.

Real rooms, not promises

The useful proof is seeing where the bars have already worked.

Cocktailhire has supplied bars and bartenders in private homes, marquees, offices, stores and recognised hotel rooms. These case studies show what was supplied and why the setup made sense once guests arrived.

Before you book

Questions that prevent the wrong booking.

Is cocktail bar hire the same as mobile bar hire?

No. Cocktail bar hire is the wider decision. Mobile bar hire is the right branch when the venue needs a physical bar delivered, built and staffed.

Can I hire only the bartenders?

Yes. If the room already has a useful bar, counter or service point, the bartender service may be all the event needs.

Can Cocktailhire supply the drinks as well?

Yes, through the All-In-One package. You choose from the existing Cocktailhire menu and the event menu is built from those selected drinks. The package combines the bar, team, drinks, ice and glassware.

Do you run a guest-paid cash bar?

No. Cocktailhire bookings are host-paid. We do not operate licensing or a bar where guests buy their drinks from us during the event.

How do I know how much bar space the event needs?

As a starting guide, allow one 1.5 metre unit for each 100 guests. The room shape, service position and expected pace are checked before the setup is confirmed.

Still deciding which setup fits the room? Use the cocktail bar hire planning guide to compare staff-only service, a physical mobile bar and fully supplied packages before booking.

The next useful step

Check the date before building the rest around it.

Enter the event details, see the price and choose from the existing Cocktailhire menu. Book online if everything is clear, or schedule a callback if you still have questions.

A clearer next step

Company event?

Office parties, staff celebrations and company receptions now have one direct page that separates staff, mobile bar and fully supplied options.

Bolton party bar planning

Can I hire a party bar in Bolton?

Yes. Cocktailhire covers party bar hire in Bolton. If the venue needs a physical bar as well as the team, use Mobile Bar Hire in Bolton.

If the venue already has a workable bar, kitchen island or service point, bartender or cocktail maker hire may be enough. If the host wants the bar, team, selected drinks, ice and glassware handled together, use the all-in-one package route.
