If the room near Oxford has no usable bar, a cocktail maker alone will not solve it. Bottles, ice, glassware and tools still need a safe working surface. Mobile bar hire creates that service point, but the correct size and shape depend on access, guest number and the space available.
Start with the room
Measure the area where the bar will sit and the route used to reach it. Include doors, stairs, lifts, tight turns and any distance across grass or gravel. The finished bar is modular, but each section still needs a practical route into the building.
Choose the minimum working length
Cocktailhire protects a minimum of one 1.5 metre bar unit per 100 guests. Clients can add more units for the room or service style, but cannot reduce the bar below that operating minimum.
Straight bar
A straight run is the most space-efficient layout. It works against a wall or across one side of a room and keeps all bartenders facing the same guest area.
Horseshoe bar
A horseshoe keeps the chosen front length, then adds two corner sections and two short sides. It creates a more enclosed working area without requiring the full footprint of an island. Central back-bar shelving can be added when useful.
Fixed island bar
The island is a fixed 14.5 metre build with central shelving and a staff entrance. It uses six 1.5 metre units, three 0.5 metre sections and four 1.1 metre corner frames. The fixed price is £2,450.
This layout needs significant floor space and suits large rooms where guests can approach from several sides. It is not the sensible option for a narrow room simply because it is the largest.
Fronts and finishes
The commercial steel framework can take different guest-facing finishes, including wooden, mirror-brick and upholstered styles. Choose the finish that belongs in the room rather than the one that looks busiest in isolation.
Staffing and glassware
A larger physical bar does not replace the need for enough bartenders. Guest number, service time and menu determine staffing. Glassware can be supplied with a Cocktailhire mobile bar booking, with glass collectors included where the scale requires them. Glassware is not available as a standalone delivery.
